The LIB 2008 Green Package

We need your participation in helping the environment!  Upgrade your ticket to a Green Ticket, and the carbon emissions from your transportation to the festival will be offset through clean energy. Transportation by attendees is responsible for over 80% of the environmental impact caused by events.  We can't make this a green event without your help! These packages are available as upgrades to every Ticket and Vehicle pass purchase. So just head on over to our Tickets page and click the appropriate links to get to our ticket purchase pages.

Included in every Green Package:

A 27 oz. LIB Kleen Kanteen: These retail for $18 and up (and ours come with a cool LIB logo). Skip out on using gross and wasteful plastic with this very handy drinking buddy. We've discounted the Green Ticket to be less than the entire cost of a Klean Kanteen at the event, so take advantage of this deal now!  We've done our homework, and found the water bottle we think is the most durable, easiest to carry, and can be left in the sun without leaching toxic chemicals into your precious drinking water (unlike plastics).  Plus, we're filling this up for you during the entire festival for free! That's right, kleen kanteen owners get access to free water throughout LIB.
Green Travel Offset: Did you know that transportation to the festival by event-goers actually accounts for 80% of a festival's impact? Offset your share of travel to the festival with clean renewable energy produced in the US, provided by Green Mountain Energy.
Green Souvenir Sticker: A sweet-lookin souvenir LIB sticker heralding your participation in making LIB green again in 2008, specially designed by our in-house artist Albertico.  We love stickers!

Carbon Offset Only: If you don't have the funds to upgrade to the full Green Ticket package, please consider just offsetting your travel emissions for only $2.50 (also available on the ticket purchase pages).   We want you to know that it really IS easy, and inexpensive, to be green.
