Upon entry, all guests will be required to register and receive a wristband, which must be worn AT ALL TIMES throughout the duration of the event.

If you do not have a wristband you will be escorted out of the event. If you lose your wristband you will need to purchase another one.

In and outs are strongly discouraged, except in the case of emergency. You don’t want to miss anything anyways, right?

Sound Systems

Sound systems are not allowed at Lightning in a Bottle. Please let us provide the sound. There is a sound ordinance that can jeopardize the future of our event at this location and after missing last year we don’t want that to happen again. Security will be enforcing this and we reserve the right to confiscate your equipment until the completion of the event.

Music and Live Entertainment

The stages will be live and in effect during the following hours:

Friday, May 28th: 12pm – 2am

Saturday, May 29th: 12pm-2am

Sunday, May 30th: 12pm-2am

Three whole days! And if you’re a late night person, after 2am expect special surprises, acoustic jam sessions and other fun stuff to carry the festival through the night.

Camping Info

Camping for the entire event is included in the weekend pass ticket price. For additional information on Car and RV camping passes, family camping and other camping related information please visit our camping page.

Camp Fires

Unfortunately due to the sensitivity of the land and the severity of flying embers we can not allow there to be open fires in the camping areas or at the festival.

Cooking and Grilling

Enclosed propane grills are acceptable in the camping areas but NO open flame or charcoal grills will be allowed.

Trash

Pack it in and pack it out. Please be sure to clean up your campsite thoroughly before departing the festival. Your cooperation and commitment to our Green Mission Statement “Leave It Better, Leave It Beautiful” is paramount to this event’s continued success.

Car/ RV Camping Passes

A limited amount of car and RV camping passes will be available. If you choose to camp in your car or in an RV you will have to camp in designated areas for cars and RV camping. These areas will be posted on the festival site map when it is released.

*RV camping area also accommodates walk in camping as well as car camping.

Parking/Shuttles

The parking area will be a short distance from the camping area so we will be providing a shuttle system for you and your gear to get back and forth. Please prepare for this when deciding how much stuff you want to bring with you to the festival.

Workshop Info

Workshops are FREE throughout the weekend!

There will be workshop schedules posted at the event and further details are available on the workshops page.

Vending

Our vending village is located at the center of the festival grounds and offers a wide variety of community made goods including clothing, jewelry, hula hoops and more. It’s much better than your daily trip to the mall, so take advantage of the opportunity and get some of the best goods of the year. Some old food vending favorites and a handful of new ones will be preparing meals for us at LIB this year. You can expect a wide variety of organic vegetarian food choices to enjoy throughout the festival. 3 meals a day, consider it covered!

No need to pack a lunch because we have some yummy vegetarian food vendors this year:

Additional Info

•This is an all ages event, anyone under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

•Underage drinking and illegal drug use is NOT permitted! Non-compliance with this could jeopardize the future of LIB.

•Amplified sound is NOT permitted in camping areas! Please leave your sound systems at home and enjoy the music we are providing on our stages.

•Dogs and other pets are NOT allowed. If you show up with a dog, you will not be admitted into the event. We will direct you to the nearest kennel. Elephants and giraffes are ok though.

•LIB is STRONGLY encouraging pre-cycled trash and pack-it-in/pack-it-out practices for the weekend. Less trash really does equal more fun! Leave it Better, Leave it Beautiful!

•Since there are no lifeguards on duty and there is also a no-drowning rule at LIB, absolutely NO ONE is allowed in the lake! Individuals caught in the lake may be fined by the rangers on site and could jeopardize LIB’s ability to use the location in the future. Please don’t do it!

•LIB guests with allergies (and those without) should be aware that there are bees, wasps, poison oak, and the occasional rattlesnake at the location.

• Unfortunately the facilities at this years Lightning in a Bottle do not include on-site showers.
