Use to compare flight rates on different dates and times

Skyscanner is awesome because it lets you compare rates across a whole month of potential departure days and times. So if you are flexible with travel days, this is a great tool! You can also use their everywhere tool to find the cheapest flights from any airport.

Fly indirect

If you have the time to spare, consider booking a flight with one or two stops along the way. They may not be ideal, but they are often a much cheaper option.

Book airport parking before you go

If you must leave your car at the airport, make these arrangements a while prior to your travel date since prices increases the day of. If possible, use public transportation, uber, or have a friend bring you to the airport.

Bring your own food

As long as the foods aren’t liquid (soup, yogurt, hummus, etc.) it’s fine to bring them on board. Airports and flights dramatically increase food prices, so bringing your own is definitely the cheaper option.

Weigh your luggage at home

Being surprised by overweight baggage fees are no fun, and totally can spoil the journey to LIB. Avoid this by checking the accepted weight limit for your flight and weighing your baggage before you leave; adjust accordingly if necessary.
