Camping at LIB: Your Home Away From Home
April 10th, 2018 - Marketing
The festival experience can be about the eclectic music, next-level art, and enriching workshops, but LIB is truly unique because of one key ingredient—YOU! Attendees (we like to call you LIB’ers) spread the love and really create the magic that’s felt across the festival grounds, especially within the streets and alleys of our campgrounds. So make sure you set aside some time to explore them this May. You’ll be amazed by what you might stumble upon!
Here are a few ways to make LIB your home away from home…
Make New Friends
LIB is the best place to meet new people and make new friends. You’re bound to encounter all types of people – creative, funny, wise, and most importantly, genuine. It’s really not hard to meet folks that are on your wavelength and just your flavor of weird! So let loose, be you, and don’t be afraid to talk it up with new faces!
Random Acts of Kindness
Random acts of kindness can be seen, heard, and felt all over LIB. Neighbors helping you pitch a tent. Caring ravers asking if you need water. Bypassers giving you a hug just to spread some love. So take it in and give back! A little kindness goes a long way.
Group meals are the best way to rejuvenate from a long day of dancing and festival shenanigans. Bring some extra goodies and snacks to share with your squad and lure some new friends, or splurge on a nice dinner from one of our vendors. Nothing compares to sharing your festival stories over a platter of fresh fruit!
Take a few moments to mellow out, rest your bones and re-energize with a “cuddle puddle”! Whether with your significant other or festival squad, cozy cuddle puddles with lots of blankets and pillows are an excellent way to keep warm, chill, and gaze at the stars!
Exploring the Decor
Not only can you find amazing art in the festival grounds, but also in the campgrounds and in the LIB’ers themselves! Filled with artistic expression, attendees love an extra flair and personal touch. Check out people’s themed camps, original art installations, costumes, and totems. It would be a waste not to explore and take in the bursts of creativity that lie scattered along the crevices of the campgrounds!
