EAKK! for KIDS

Family Love Village (FLV) is a community group based in Los Angeles, that is becoming the foremost model for support of conscious families and caregivers. FLV’s mission is to connect and support families and caregivers locally to learn and practice conscious parenting.  Information, resources, and support allow families to develop a gently guided approach to communicating with their children, as well as the ability to make natural, holistic and eco-friendly decisions.

FLV is so excited and honored to be back to LIB for our 8th year in a row!  Our FLV program allows everyone to get connected and celebrate life through our series of activities for kids and families:

Our EAKK! (EcoArt Kidz Kollectiv!) program is an eco-interactive environment for children where they can discover and learn the value of creating fun and educational art projects from recycled materials.  Our local FLVillagers collect household items, as well as items from schools and restaurants to create eco-friendly art projects for the children that not only prevent junk from going into the landfills and oceans, but helps to broaden the families’ perspective by envisioning  “junk” as art!

To learn more about our mission, vision, as well as past and future monthly gatherings, please visit www.familylovevillage.com.

PLEASE NOTE: During the EAKK! workshops, there will be other fun activities/shows happening at Kidz Village for families to participate in, such as Dr. Solar, Drawing Big for Little People, Peace Guardians, and Little Giant Acorn Foundation.

At all times, we strongly suggest at least one parent or caregiver being present with their children.  Family Love Village is usually NOT a daycare where parents can drop off their kids. The ONLY time that Family Love Village will be watching children is during the parent workshops and for the Saturday night Slumber Party. For the rest of the eco-activities and workshops, we always encourage fun participatory involvement for the family, as a whole.  Thank you.

Balancing the Masculine and Feminine: An Invitation for Conscious Initiation through Sacred Partnership with Nia & Ryuugan ~ For Teens and Parents

It’s time to RISE UP and reclaim your truth!  Adults are here to REWILD their SOUL to experience true freedom within this human experience as a fully embodied woman and man.  If each man and woman fully realizes their potential and her innate capacity, they can hold space for each other to rise up. By modeling this to teen girls and teen boys, it will help guide this next generation into becoming aware of their full potential.

Together, we co-create the true balance of masculine and feminine energies here on the planet!  Peace will be the bi-product of harmonious beings when we bring forth both energies out into the world.

PARENTING PORTAL

Family Love Village (FLV) is excited to bring our Conscious Parenting Workshops for our 3rd year catered towards supporting moms, dads, and all members of the family that care for children/teens!  It is such an integral part of what Family Love Village is so passionate about with getting our needs met as parents and discovering more ways to raise our children/teens and ourselves more consciously, as well.

This year we are providing a few focused and guided workshops that create a sacred space for moms/women and dads/men to raise awareness of honoring the feminine and masculine energies, all the while learning how to become conscious role models for our families.

PLEASE NOTE: During these workshops, Family Love Village will offer free childcare during these times ONLY.  If you are planning to attend these parent workshops, you will need to come 30 minutes prior to the workshop to go over the FLV childcare protocol.

And to add a special “treat”, the winners to get the most “food” wins a prize at the end!

Self-Love Tools That Can Help Raise Your Inner Wild Child (and Your Child, Too)! with Tangee Veloso ~

One of the best ways to teach our children about self-love and self-care is by modeling it! Our society has unfortunately taught us (especially moms) that if you do things for yourself; if you put yourself first and get your needs met; if you do something other than taking care of the kids, cleaning the house, etc then you are “selfish”!

In this workshop, we will discuss:

  • The secret to taming your inner wild child
  • Seven steps to help tame your inner wild child
  • What it means to fill your own love cup

We will discover ways to step outside of the box and step into our power and choose self-love! THIS is one way our children will learn about self-love!
